Overview
A native of Oklahoma City, Lance Parker comes to Chivas USA from Missouri State University. The goalkeeper, born August 19, 1985, made his official Chivas USA debut on July 13 in a 2-1 SuperLiga loss to Pachuca, and his MLS debut on Aug. 8, 2009. Parker was a member of the Colorado Rapids U-23 of the Premier Development League in the summer of 2007, where he played in eight games and notched a record of 4-2-2 (W-L-T) while in the net for the team.
MLS Experience
2009: Made his MLS debut in Chivas USA's 4-0 loss to Colorado on Aug. 8, and earned his first win and shutout two weeks later in a 2-0 win over Toronto FC.2008: Made one first-team appearance for Chivas USA, playing 90 minutes in Chivas USA's 2-1 loss to Pachuca in the SuperLiga on July 13. Played 10 Reserve Team matches (7 starts), posting a goals against average of 1.60.
College
Played 35 games in his four years on the Missouri State team, posting a career goals against average of .96, and was twice named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference second team. Also picked up a number of Academic All-Conference awards throughout his time at the school.

Parents are Susan, a photographer, and Dennis, an artist. Also has a younger sister, Laura.
