I don't think I could beat anybody. I'm really bad at ping-pong.

I could maybe beat Jorge Flores. I don't think he's even heard of ping-pong.
How many languages do you speak?
I speak six languages. (Pause) No, I'm just kidding. I speak Spanish and English.
What's the most interesting place you've been in the world?
Probably Egypt. The people there are really different and the Pyramids are impressive.
What would your theme song be if you could pick one?
I try to listen to gospel music before our games. It pumps me up.
Who would play you in the Hollywood version of your life?
Oh, man. Tom Cruise? No. Maybe that kid from "Transformers." Shia Labeouf.

What other sports do you play beside soccer?
I like basketball. I would call it my second sport. I play a lot in my free time.
What sport are you worst at?
I'm terrible at golf. I tried playing once, but it's just not for me.
Who's the toughest player to play against?
I think Guillermo Barros Schelotto is tough for the whole team to deal with. Landon Donovan is hard as well.
What's the ugliest soccer uniform you've ever seen or worn?
Celtic. From Scotland.
The green and white stripes?
I don't like those colors.
What would be the title of your autobiography?
How about "Gerson Going to Work."
That's similar to the Kobe Bryant documentary. That one's called "Kobe Doin' Work."
Oh, no. The guys will make fun of me for that one. They know I love the Lakers.
Who is the most famous person in your cell phone?
Probably my teammates.

(laughing) Maybe Maykel Galindo?
